Our RC CAR ARENA combines radio control cars with the competition of arena sports. The small cars are plenty fast, and require moderate skill and reflexes to drive the cars, and to score a point. This makes them fun for kids, yet sill challenging for adults.

The arena will need about 10x20 foot of floor space, and will be placed directly on the floor. We can adjust the size slightly to fit the floor space provided.

Arena cars may only be used on the race course, or arena.

Walking on the track is not permitted, and the cars have very small parts, so kids under the age of 6 are not permited near the track, without a parent. The track may be temporarily shutdown and the cars put away if this becomes an issue.

RC CAR ARENA

Virtual Raceways provides an operator that will setup and stay for the duration of the event, to operate the track, instruct drivers, and recharge batteries. Our operator will arrive about 2 hours before the event start time to begin setting up. The first 50 miles of travel, and the first 2 hours of setup, is included.

The rental price for our arena is based on the quantity of cars we need to keep running in order to keep up with the quantity of simultaneous players you request for your event.

ADD 1 HOUR

The first 3 hours of event time is included, however these cars have tiny batteries that cannot be removed. This makes the cars un-drivable while their battery is being charged. This is why we bring multiple sets of cars, so one set is on the charger, while one set is being driven.

Even with the extra trucks, please expect the arena to be paused for 5 to 20 minutes out of each hour, to let the battery energy levels catch up to the player's energy levels. The more players participating, the faster batteries are drained and the more charge time will be needed. The more time players spend away from the arena eating, opening gifts, or in other activities, the less down time will be needed.

GAME PLAY

Players will choose to wait in the line for the red team, or the line for the blue team. After each 10~20 minute game, the next group of players in line will take their turn. The more active arena cars the less time players will spend in line.

Our arena is setup to play a few different games created by Virtual Raceways. Each game, the current group of players may choose wich of the games to play.

TIRE BALL is the RC Car Arena equivalent to football, hockey, soccer, polo, rugby, or whatever you want to call it. Two teams fight over 1 ball, and try to push, bounce, or roll it into the other team's goal to score a point. Each Tire Ball game will be about 10-20 minutes. When time expires, the team with the most points, wins. Players may choose to play with a variety of balls or pucks in a variety of shapes and sizes.

TIC TAC TOE is a bit more strategic, and has some similarities to the original game of the same name. Two teams, fight over control of 9 spaces, in an attempt to win by controlling 3 spaces in a straight or diagonal row. 15 balls in each teams color, are scattered around the arena randomly. Teams must acquire and push their balls into one of the 9 spaces. Multiple balls can be in each of the 9 spaces. The team with the most balls in a space, controls that space. The first team to control 3 spaces in a row, and call it out, wins the round. The first team to win 2 out of 3 rounds, wins the game.

CLEAN SWEEP is played with many balls, pucks, cubes, and other shapes in play. Teams will try to push all of the items out of their side of the arena. Different items are worth different amounts of points. The winning team is the team with the least points on their side.

COLLECTION is played with multiple balls, and 1 goal on each team. A few dozen balls of various colors are randomly scattered around the arena. Teams race to collect as many balls as they can, and put them in their own goal. When every ball has been collected, the team with the most balls in their goal wins.
